A Family Farm Business
Rymans Farm Logs is just one part of our 3 generational family business. The heart of the business is the farm, which has passed through the family since the 1930’s and continues to grow. More recently, in 2020 we started to sell British Christmas trees and in 2023 established a successful cut flower farm. The logs are the latest addition and compliments the seasonality of our other businesses.

Providing the Highest Quality Logs
We pride ourselves on providing the best logs possible. All our logs are kiln dried to the point of 18% moisture content or less. This is important to us because if the logs are not properly dried before being burnt, the extra moisture has to be removed by the fire, which wastes heat energy that could be heating your home. Kiln dried logs are also better for the environment as wet firewood releases toxins into the atmosphere that can be damaging to human health. Additionally, our logs are entirely hardwood (at least 85% Ash and Beech) and contain no bark. This means that our logs will always burn well, with the least smoke and emissions possible.

Woodsure Ready to Burn Certification
We are certified under the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme, which means we can promise to you that our logs are dry to burn and suitable for immediate use. They rigorously check that wood fuel is produced and supplied to the correct standards.
